Beatriz Beltranena

Beatriz Beltranena brings over two decades of experience in international corporate law, compliance, and investment management.

 

For 15 years, she served as Legal Director and General Counsel of Amzak Capital Management, LLC, (AMZAK) where she oversaw the legal department and managed transactions and legal affairs across diverse investments, including telecommunications (Ament, Tricom), manufacturing (KPAQ), staffing (Trace Staffing Solutions), retail (Marbles the Brain Store), a multifamily real estate portfolio, venture capital in the health industry, and other sectors. She continues serving AMZAK as outside general counsel and represents AMZAK in some board of directors positions.

 

Previously, Beatriz was a Senior Associate at Consortium Legal, a leading Central American law firm, where she directed the Corporate Law Department. She also held key roles at Citibank, serving as General Counsel and Country Compliance Officer for the El Salvador branch (1998–2005) and as an attorney in the Legal Department of Citibank Guatemala (1996–1998).

Beatriz earned her Degree in Legal and Social Sciences (Cum Laude) from Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala and holds licenses to practice law in both Guatemala and El Salvador. She also earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in U.S. Law from Washington University in St. Louis, School of Law.

Fluent in Spanish and English, Beatriz also serves as a Board Member of CFG Partners and as an investment committee advisor from two family groups in El Salvador.
